Become hyper-able to notice the hilariously stupid, over-the-top shit done to female characters when it comes to illustration, concept art and geek culture?

Thanks to Escher girls, Women Fighters in Reasonable Armor, the insanely popular lampshading of the Avengers promo poster and more I'm now instantly like "That crime fighting gear makes no sense. If he grabs her tit, she's down for the count." "Wow, that armor protects no vital organs but it sure will protect her nipples!" and "People don't bend that way!!! Does she have scoliosis!?"

It's made me look at me own art and wince. I've been raised on hypersexualized superheroines and it's leaked into my art. Time to purge it little by little. I'll still have my sexy bad asses, but goddammit they will wearing things that don't suck in the realistic realm of combat. It's a good thing!

What do y'all think?
